Membership
We rely on our members!
- The essence of the DPG becomes clear through the work of each individual member. Every member represents the DPG to the outside world and represents plant protection interests in public. That is why every member is very important to us in achieving our statutory objectives.
- The DPG's mission is based on the benefit for the common good. We are aware of the outstanding importance of plant protection for securing the nutritional basis and the living environment of the population and the provision of sufficient renewable raw materials under the conditions of globalized trade and commerce.
- Our participation in the DPG testifies to our responsibility towards the DPG's mission. Obtaining personal benefits through the work of the DPG is subordinate to the mission and is incidental.
- The DPG's mission is to bring together a wide variety of interest groups who, in their own special way, safeguard the public's requirements for plant protection. It is irrelevant which path the individual members take or how great their contribution is.
- Our constant endeavor is the professional and social classification of findings from the individual disciplines of plant protection. This creates the opportunity for scientific progress and technical innovation. Our members promote research in the entire field of plant protection as well as the application of the knowledge gained in teaching and consulting. This results in the joint development of diverse plant protection solutions.
- Our members provide an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary integration of plant protection content. They come from the fields of university/research, industry/small and medium-sized enterprises, including plant cultivation producers, from public consulting, are independent experts, belong to state and federal authorities or are interested laypersons.
Types of memberships
You have the choice: ordinary or supporting member?
